Striking Clock
An Alexa skill that emulates the striking function of a pendulum clock, chiming the number of times that corresponds to the current hour.

How to Use
In the Alexa app (iOS/Android), create a Routine with a scheduled condition at times like 10:00, 11:00, or 12:00, and set the custom action with text such as "open Striking Clock and play number 2".
When the scheduled time arrives, the chime will sound automatically.
To chime each hour, you will need to create a separate Routine for each hour.
Number of Chimes
- At the top of the hour (within ±3 minutes): The chime will sounds the same number of times as the current hour.
- At other times: The chime will sound once (useful for half/quarter-hour chime).
Available Sounds
- Number 1: Pendulum clock chime (free)
- Number 2: Antique clock chime
- Number 3: Grandfather clock chime
- Number 4: Cuckoo clock 1
- Number 5: Cuckoo clock 2
- Number 6: Westminster chime for Japanese school (chimes once even at the top of the hour)
- Number 7: Clear-toned chime
- Number 8: Westminster chime
Subscription
A subscription (99¢) is required to play chime sounds from number 2 onward without a voice announcement.
